Laser engraving effectively removes the top layers of coating on a product to reveal the raw material beneath. This means the marking is always a silvery/grey colour. It works particularly well on products made of metal, but can also be used on plastic, wood and even cardboard (if you don't mind a bit of fire 🔥)
